Ex Arca – Consulting ACross Borders, managed by Cross Borders s.e.c.s., has drafted in January 2016 a study on the travel insurance market in Luxembourg. We have analyzed in detail 79 travel insurance products and 22 insurance providers established in Luxembourg. The request for this study came from Union Luxembourgeoise des Consommateurs (ULC) and Chambre des Salariés (CSL), both of them important players defending consumers’ and employees’ interests in the Grand-Duchy. On the basis of this study, a brochure (in German) (in French) was published by ULC and CSL in order to guide consumers through this rather complicated environment and explain, in 21 concrete steps, how to prepare and conclude a good travel insurance.
