An extremely useful explanation has been published by Cross Borders in the 7 Nov contribution to Les Frontaliers website. It concerns the rights air, train and bus passengers have when their luggage arrives late, is lost or damaged.
Did you know that you have to claim your compensation within a certain timeframe (21 days for example in case of luggage arriving late …, 7 days for damaged luggage), and that there are levels of compensation which may not be exceeded (1.220 euros for luggage carried by airplanes, for example) ?
